Located in the centre of Kings Landing Historical Settlement, the King’s Head Inn meal programs each boast different menu options with themes specific to the season. Great care has been taken to ensure that everything is appropriate to the 1850s – from the furnishings, the costumed staff, the fine food and lively entertainment.

Treat your Dad to a memorable day at Kings Landing and follow up with a unique meal at the King’s Head Inn.  During the day experience the history of ‘horsepower’ in New Brunswick and the evolution of transportation from 19th to the 20th century, including a rare showing of Kings Landing’s renowned carriage collection.  Admission and dinner packages available.

 

Menu selections for the evening meal are designed to appeal to Dads of all ages, inspired by traditional New Brunswick recipes.  Choose in advance from one of the following:

New! Grandparents Day

Kings Landing is proud to honour Grandparents this weekend with a buffet at the King’s Head Inn in lieu of our regular menu.  Special events in the village this weekend will offer grandma and grandpa a chance to reminisce and the grandkids will get a taste of what life was like before television, computers and cell phones!

 

No reservations required: all are welcome!

All Hallow’s Eve

From ghost stories to chilling tales of murder and mayhem, the King’s Head Inn will come alive ~ make that “dead” ~ to celebrate the ancient ritual of All Hallow’s Eve. 

 

In the pub before dinner warm your hands by an open fire and be chilled by spine-tingling ghost stories from Atlantic Canada and beyond, as well as a selection of 19th century songs.

Christmas Dinners

Christmas dinners at the King’s Head Inn have become a tradition for thousands of patrons each year.  The entire Inn will be dressed for a 19th century Christmas with evergreen boughs, garlands, pomander balls, ribbons and strings of popcorn and cranberries for Christmas Dinners by candlelight.  Upon arrival, guests are met with a burst of Christmas music to get you in the spirit before the call to dine.  Choose in advance from the following:

Prime Rib Roast of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding
